PowerBI - How to Automatic Page Refresh in Power BI Desktop

Let's flair it the Power BI way: 

You can refresh your Power BI Dashboards automatically via Power BI service, But what if you are working on a report and you want to see the data refresh in Power BI Dashboard.

Microsoft Power BI Team has added this feature where we can refresh the data in Power BI dashboard that too automatically with the time interval you can select.

 

Note : Page refresh card is only available when you are connected to data source using Direct Query option.

Steps Involved:

1) Connect Power BI Dashboard to datasets using get data option.

2) Goto Visualization pane and select Page refresh option.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3)  Turn on Page refresh option and select refresh type and time interval.
